1 2009 - All Saints Day
Fr.
Mark's Weekly Homily
Feast of All Souls....Every year the Church celebrates the feast
of All Souls. We recognize that the temporal punishment due to
confessed and forgiven sin, still warrants purification of the SOUL.
This means that the average purification for us after we die, would be
like 40 years here on Earth. That is a very long time to be waiting
our entrance into Heaven. Poor Souls cannot pray for themselves. Like
someone in ICU, the care must come from others. Please pray for your
deceased relatives and friends. Offer your sacrifices, your Rosaries,
your Holy Communions, and have masses offered for the dead. Don't
forget the poor and forgotten SOULS that have no one to pray for them.
Each and every soul we free from Purgatory, will be interceding for us
after we die. If you don't believe in Purgatory right now, you will
when you arrive there.
Adult Classes.... Adult
